Acceptance of Terms

By using td, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the software.

License

td is open-source software licensed under the MIT License. You are free to use, modify, and distribute the software subject to the terms of the MIT License.

Use at Your Own Risk

IMPORTANT: td is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. You use this tool at your own risk.

  • AI Integration: td is designed to work with AI coding assistants. While we've built in structure and safeguards, AI behaviour can be unpredictable. Always review AI-generated changes before committing them to your codebase.
  • Data Safety: td modifies files in your project (task files, CLAUDE.md, etc.). Always use version control (git) and back up your work.
  • No Liability: We are not responsible for any damage, data loss, or other issues that may arise from using td, whether caused by the tool itself or by AI assistants using the tool.
  • Beta Software: td is currently in beta. Expect bugs, breaking changes, and rough edges.

Appropriate Use

You agree to use td:

  • In compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Responsibly and professionally
  • With proper backups and version control
  • With human oversight when working with AI assistants

No Warranty

td is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the td developers or contributors be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data, business interruption, or any other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use or inability to use td.

Third-Party Integrations

td integrates with AI assistants like Claude Code. These are separate services with their own terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the behaviour or terms of third-party services.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of td after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION - To be determined].
